Doing fine :)

 I am writing the blog in advance since I don't have Internet as I expected. My journey was long and I got sick unfortunately so my lunch ended up in the toilet in the plane. I didn't even arrive yet and my stomach is already complaining.

I had a 3 hour stop in Dubai. The first plane to Dubai was awesome.  So luxurious and nice. The second plane from Dubai was not so comfortable especially since I was placed in the smallest chair on the plane. When I arrived I got my bag quickly and went outside where amarasiri was waiting for me. It was so nice to see him and he looked so good! We walked to the little bus where his wife and kids were waiting for me. It was so nice that they all came to pick me up. The drive to the town where amarasiri lives is about 3 hours but we had a few stops on the way; to get some water for me, to get some beetle (tabbaco plant what people chew here instead of smoking sigarettes) and to get some dinner. I recognised the place immediately. It was the same place we also stopt 3 years ago on our way from the airport.  We walked in and I was reminded of what I really don't like about sri Lanka.... every body stopped and stared at me as if I was a ghost. I really hate it when the whole restaurant stares at you and judges every move you make. Of course they searched for some cutlery to give to the tourist but I decided to eat with my hands, as the custom here is. The dinner was nice and actually did my stomach good  . The rest of the trip I was getting really tired. Me and amarasiri talked about everybody at the safari (where I was last time) and we are going by tomorrow to see everybody :)
I am staying at the accommodation that amarasiri has for volunteers from his project. It is the top floor of a big house where a man and woman live with their daughter that is around the same age as me. There are  no volunteers at the moment so it is just me which I like for now. I had a shower without shampoo and there is also no toilet paper so I need to buy some stuff tomorrow.
I'm going to try and go to sleep now. Let's hope I can get a good night's rest!

And I did have a good night rest! I bought shampoo, had breakfast and had a nice shower. Now I am waiting for amarasiri to come and pick me up. I asked him yesterday about the workers for the disabled home and he says he has arranged everything but the workers are working somewhere else until today. So tomorrow we will go and see them to work out what needs to be done. I am going to try and go to a wifi place today.

And I made it to a wifi place haha :)
